Return
policy for housewares
Returns
With an Original Sales Receipt
Metro Home offers a full refund on your purchase
within 30 days of sale. The item must be unopened
and/or unused and in original condition with all
packaging intact. All returns will be issued in
the original form of payment.
Returns Without a Receipt
Returns without receipts will be honored with store
credit or exchange for the current selling price.
Furniture Return Policy
Regular purchase furniture items may be
returned for a full refund within three days of
purchase. Items must be in as-purchased conditionesd,
and not a clearance item or special order. After
3 days an in-store credit may be available subject
to manager's approval. No returns will be allowed
after ten days. There will be a $45.00 delivery
fee for return merchandise picked up by the Metro
Home delivery department. Clearance items are a
final sale, no refunds or returns.
Furniture
Special Orders
Special orders require a non-refundable deposit
of one-third of the total at time of order. The balance
is due when furniture arrives in stock at Metro Home.
Special orders are non-returnable.
Layaway
Furniture Policy
Furniture items may be placed on layaway
for 60 days. A non-refundable deposit of one third
of purchase price is required. If the item is not
paid in full within sixty days, the item will be removed
from layaway status and the deposit will be converted
to an in-store credit. We will of course make every
effort to contact customers prior to removing the
item from its layaway status. All refunds will be
made in the same form as the original payment. Cash
refunds over fifty dollars will be paid by check and
mailed to the customer within three days of the return.
Delivery
We are proud to offer in-home delivery service. Your
furniture and your home will be treated with the utmost
care and respect from start to finish. Professional
delivery and set up is available within Anchorage,
Eagle River, Girdwood and Wasilla. We will also package
your purchase for freight collect shipping by the
shipper of your choice if you live outside of our
delivery area. Please
ask your sales associate for more details.
Warranty
Our store warranty for all furniture purchase is one
year from date of delivery. In addition to this all
of our products carry a manufacturer's warranty, many
of them lifetime warranties. Your associate will let
you know the specific warranty on your purchases.
Additional warranty on leather, fabric and wood finishes
is available through the optional Guardian treatment
program.
Financing
Financing is available for purchases over $500. The
application process usually takes less than 20 minutes
and is done in-store. Twelve months same as cash terms
are available every day, with no money down, no monthly
payments and no prepayment penalties. In store layaway
is also available for 1/3 down deposit and 60 day
terms.
